Tecnet, Ibermática’s subsidiary in South America, will develop two new projects in Argentina and Perú
 

Ibermática, through its subsidiary Tecnet, continues collaborating with the main utilities companies in the American continent. Recently, the Brazilian Vale and Argentine EDEN (Empresa Distribuidora de Energía Norte SA) have entrusted Ibermática with new projects in Peru and Argentina.

The first project consists of implementing a telecommunication system for the multinational Vale’s Mining Plant in the north of Peru (in Piura). The infrastructure includes data centres, VoIP telephony, fibre optic backbones, CCTV systems, assets security and fire detection/extinction systems.

The second contract that EDEN has awarded Ibermática is focused on developing a Control Centre in order to check and supervise the state of the 16 processing stations that the company has in Buenos Aires. Therefore, Ibermática will provide EDEN with a control system based on RTUs and Subcant of the supplier Tecnet.
